Jimbortan

  • The oldest religion recorded within Astracel’s surviving archives is the Jimbortan Faith, once revered by the Ja’itvi clan, who were a part of the ancient Dynasty of Murok Nad’Il. During the height of their reign, the Gods were said to walk among mortals as beings of the same world, their presence treated with an almost unsettling normalcy, as though their divinity did not set them apart.
  • A year on Astracel is measured as 581 days, divided into thirteen distinct months. What many fail to realize is that each of these months was named after one of thirteen deities first uncovered within the teachings of the Jimbortan Faith.
  • While ongoing discoveries continue to reveal more divine figures from that era, these first thirteen remain the earliest documented. With the aid of the Shaoul Varon, scholars were able to translate the Gods’ ancient domains into terms understood in the modern age.

01 The Month of Love: Eldoria

  • Eldoria
  • Eldoria was known as the Goddess of Love and the sister of Sylvanor. Legends describe her as a wandering presence who left trails of warmth, compassion, and harmony wherever she stepped. Ancient records depict her with flowing pink hair that cascaded nearly to the ground, dressed in garments so impossibly delicate that her beauty silenced entire courts within the dynasty.

  • In modern belief, those born during her month are said to be granted long lives and an innate gift for bringing comfort to others in times of hardship. Though all Gods are believed to have existed long before the Astracelian calendar was ever conceived, Eldoria’s sacred day falls on the 42nd day of her 47-day month. From that moment until the month’s end, the people celebrate Jamari, the Festival of Love.

02 The Month of War: Gwynthar

  • Gwynthar
  • Gwynthar was known as the God of War. Ancient records describe him as a being of unyielding strength and iron resolve, yet his appearance defied all expectations. Rather than a towering warrior, he manifested as a small child, no taller than an average fourteen-year-old human. This contrast became his greatest advantage; opponents often underestimated him, only to discover too late that beneath his youthful form lay a mind and spirit forged for battle.

  • In modern belief, those born during his month are said to possess exceptional strategic insight and unwavering willpower, standing firm against even the harshest trials. Though all Gods are believed to have existed long before the Astracelian calendar was conceived, Gwynthar’s sacred day falls on the 34th day of his 43-day month. On this day, Eldranes united under TGTP gather to test both intellect and strength through ritualized trials and challenges.

03 The Month of the Moons: Thalquor

  • Thalquor
  • Thalquor was revered as the God of the Moons. Records portray him as an enigmatic and deeply wise figure, wrapped in an aura of quiet mystery. He was often depicted as a tall, slender man with short hair tinted purple and blue, wearing garments said to feel otherworldly as flowing white fabrics accented with teal. Some texts describe his attire as a ceremonial dress, while others interpret it as a long, layered tunic paired with wide-spread trousers.

  • In modern belief, those born during his month are believed to be gifted prognosticators, individuals said to sense the flow of time itself and glimpse faint echoes of the future. Though all Gods are believed to have existed long before the Astracelian calendar was conceived, Thalquor’s sacred day falls on the 21st day of his 45-day month. While no fixed holiday is held on that date, a far rarer celebration occurs roughly every 421 days, when Astracel’s two moons align. During the first celestial union of each year, all races (TGTP United / non-TGTP united) gather upon the Eldrane-built island of Pisnas Is to celebrate Pisnas Tril. On this sacred occasion, a new Estalon is chosen to stand as the living icon until the next first Pisnas Tril arrives.

04 The Month of Worlds: Vespara

  • Vespara
  • Vespara was known as the God of Worlds and the brother of Luneth. He was revered as a keeper of balance and a protector of existence itself. Ancient depictions portray him as a young adult man with silver-white hair resting at his neck, clad in radiant golden armor whenever he descended from the heavens. Records also speak of a sacred spear or polearm he carried; a weapon said to pierce the veil that shields Astracel from the radiant sun and the freezing stars beyond

  • In modern belief, those born during his month are believed to be natural builders and stabilizers, individuals with an instinctive understanding of balance and structure. Though all Gods are believed to have existed long before the Astracelian calendar was conceived, Vespara’s sacred days fall on the 22nd through 23rd days of his 44-day month. These two days mark a dual festival honoring both loss and life called Calni A Tril.

05 The Month of Light: Luneth

  • Luneth
  • Luneth was recorded as the Goddess of Light and the sister of Vespara, known across Astracel as a bringer of inspiration and fortune. She appeared as a young adult woman with flowing silver-white hair reaching her lower back, her golden eyes radiating a brilliance said to rival the dawn itself. Unlike her brother’s armor, Luneth wore garments of soft white silk, shining so brightly that gazing upon them for too long could momentarily blind mortal eyes.

  • In modern belief, those born during her month are believed to possess extraordinary creativity and walk a path guided by sacred light throughout their lives. Though all Gods are believed to have existed long before the Astracelian calendar was conceived, Luneth’s sacred day falls on the 33rd day of her 48-day month. On this day, people celebrate the sun itself. Many travel to the seaside, spending the day riding the waves, basking beneath the light, and honoring the radiance that illuminates their journey through life.

06 The Month of the Oceans: Auroraen

  • Auroraen
  • Auroraen was known as the Goddess of the Oceans, revered for her boundless love toward all beings of Astracel. Even creatures known for violent or hostile natures were said to grow calm in her presence, treating her with an instinctive reverence. She was a uniquely recognizable deity, for she wore no garments at all, believing that natural beauty was the purest form the eye could witness.

  • In modern belief, those born during her month are said to possess unmatched stamina and endurance, often becoming exceptional athletes or steadfast guardians of others. As one of the Shaoul Varon sayings goes: "Those who embody endurance, loyalty that does not betray, and the strength to protect may stand beside the Guardians of our World and are welcomed within our homeland."
  • Though all Gods are believed to have existed long before the Astracelian calendar was conceived, Auroraen’s sacred day falls on the 12th day of her 42-day month. On this day, the waves are believed to echo her love most strongly, and even the most aggressive Estalons are said to grow unusually calm beneath her influence.

07 The Month of Spirits: Mystara

  • Mystara
  • Mystara was known as the God of Spirits, regarded as the most enigmatic among the Jimbortan deities. Ancient records describe him speaking to unseen presences beyond mortal perception, appearing to converse with empty air or gently stroke invisible beasts. Yet through his striking purple-pink eyes, marked by pale white pupils, the spirits were said to appear as vividly as any living being.

  • In modern belief, those born during his month are said to carry hidden powers of immense potential, with the sacred ability to reshape the world itself should these gifts awaken. Though all Gods are believed to have existed long before the Astracelian calendar was conceived, Mystara’s sacred day falls on the 1st day of his 46-day month. On this day, spirits are said to reveal themselves more clearly to mortal sight, and spiritual creatures come out of hiding as though guided by a greater unseen calling.
  • SkyNote: Within Astracel, spirits are entities with phasing, intangible bodies, while spiritual creatures are entities that possess mortal physical bodies. {Spirit Example: Could not be found. Spiritual Creature Example: Inari}.

08 The Month of Forests: Sylvanor

  • Sylvanor
  • Sylvanor was known as the God of Forests and the brother of Eldoria. While she embodied love, he represented harmony. Records describe him as a younger-looking deity with short cinnamon-colored spiked hair, his green garments designed to blend in with most of the common Sylvanites across Astracel.

  • In modern belief, those born during his month are said to be granted long lives and a rare gift of unity, able to bring opposing forces together despite wars or deep-rooted conflict, binding them like the roots of a single ancient tree. Though all Gods are believed to have existed long before the Astracelian calendar was ever conceived, Sylvanor’s sacred day falls on the 3rd day of his 40-day month. Though no festival is held, all Races honor the Shaoul Namsar Agreement, a pact declaring that all active conflicts must halt during the week surrounding this day, allowing the world a brief moment of peace.

09 The Month of Dragons: Dracoria

  • Dracoria
  • Dracoria was recorded as the God of Dragons, regarded as the father of all draconic species and bloodlines throughout Astracel. Though his appearance often inspired fear, caused by his silver-white hair streaked with dark black highlights and garments of deep shadow, ancient accounts describe him as remarkably gentle, endlessly proud of his children. He was known to encourage others to show affection toward the dragons he nurtured, though few mortals dared approach such powerful beings.
  • Among the fragmented archives survives a rare intact account describing the day he introduced Valorian to his children after Valorian’s ascension. The text recalls how Dracoria could not stop gushing over the newborn hatchlings, repeatedly calling them "good boy" as they learned to fly for the first time.

  • In modern belief, those born during his month are believed to inherit a fragment of his strength, possessing the courage and capability to tame or raise even the most formidable Estalons, draconic or otherwise. Though all Gods are believed to have existed long before the Astracelian calendar was ever conceived, Dracoria’s sacred day falls on the 49th day of his 49-day month. On this day, people celebrate all Estalons across Astracel, caring for companions, offering food to wild creatures, and honoring the bond between mortal and beast.
  • While the months were originally named in order of discovery, it is noted that Dracoria’s month was intentionally placed ninth, as during this month the draconic season of mating starts.

10 The Month of the Skies: Caelum

  • Caelum
  • Caelum was known as the God of the Skies and the embodiment of Freedom. He was often witnessed soaring across Astracel alongside Aerial Estalons, moving among them as if he were one of their own. Though his divine power alone allowed him to traverse the heavens, he asked Araz to craft a set of wings so he could travel without immediately revealing his divine nature to those below. He was described as a youthful figure with bright blue hair reaching his neck, dressed in flowing white garments that mirrored the clouds themselves, and bearing four angelic wings; two grand and two smaller, feathered extensions.
  • Skynote: While his wings allowed him to blend seamlessly with the creatures of the heavens, walking upon the earth made him instantly recognizable, because the wings could not be hidden away xD.

  • In modern belief, those born during his month are said to carry a fragment of his blessing; the gift of freedom itself. They are believed to live unbound, guided by the wind, capable of breaking free from any chain that seeks to restrain them. Though all Gods are believed to have existed long before the Astracelian calendar was ever conceived, Caelum’s sacred day falls on the 11th day of his 43-day month. On this day, the TGTP established the holiday Hamal Tril {Day of Freedom}. All companies that fall under the races united by TGTP cease business, encouraging individuals to explore the world and embrace liberation. Living expenses are temporarily lifted for those maintaining their usual routines, and even those required to remain on guard serve only half a day before being relieved, allowing both parties time to spend the celebration with those around them. On the following day, they are granted an additional half-day of rest as well.

11 The Month of Fire: Nyxar

  • Nyxar
  • Nyxar was revered as the Goddess of Fire and counted among the Kamb-A-Ir Gods. While many knew her as a shy woman despite the normal treatment by the dynasty, her immense power could also be sensed from anyone nearby. She appeared as a young woman with flowing red-orange hair down to her hips and eyes that seemed to burn like living flame. Records frequently depict her holding a small sphere of pure fire, said to calm her thoughts and steady the energy that surrounded her.

  • In modern belief, those born during her month are believed to possess immense inner strength; a power that rests quietly until truly needed. In times of great danger, it is said that their hidden flame awakens, burning brighter and louder than all others, rivaling even the brilliance of the sun. Some ancient accounts whisper of a secret affection she held for Dracoria, claiming she gifted his children the ability of fire breath so that he would forever remember her presence. Though all Gods are believed to have existed long before the Astracelian calendar was ever conceived, Nyxar’s sacred day falls on the 12th day of her 47-day month. While no official holiday is observed, a meteor shower is said to appear somewhere during this time.

12 The Month of Dreams: Elysium

  • Elysium
  • Elysium was known as the Goddess of Dreams and the greatest visionary to have ever existed. She was depicted wearing flowing teal garments, with a radiant golden ring suspended behind her; an artifact believed to have allowed her to pierce the Dreamworld and glimpse the thoughts and visions of others.

  • In modern belief, those born during her month are said to possess the rare ability to sense unseen possibilities and are sometimes credited with walking within the dreams of others. While such claims are often dismissed as myth, it is notable that many seers, innovators, and wanderers guided by dreams are recorded as being born during her month. Though all Gods are believed to have existed long before the Astracelian calendar was ever conceived, Elysium’s sacred day falls on the 18th day of her 45-day month. On this day, people celebrate Nail Lil, a festival held across many nations, often featuring theatrical plays inspired by dreams that individuals have recorded and shared.

13 The Month of Valor: Valorian

  • Valorian
  • Valorian was known as the Risen Warrior of Valor, the first recorded being to ascend from mortality into divinity through knowledge, courage, and unwavering strength. Born a mortal, he rose beyond his origins, ascending through countless trials until he stood among the divine. Though records are scarse, surviving texts credit him as the first mortal capable of wielding the Sword of Farul, a weapon said to answer only to those who embody true balance. Records depict him as the only god whose scars were openly shown, worn with pride despite his divine ability to heal them. Rather than erase these marks, he carried them as symbols of his mortal journey and the trials that forged him. He was clad in silver armor reminiscent that of a knight’s, with long, unkempt hair of a metallic silver hue that mirrored the steel he wore.

  • In modern belief, those born during his month are believed to inherit fragments of his bravery and leadership; the strength to stand against darkness and inspire others in times of peril. While he is remembered simply as Valorian, scholars believe his full mortal name to have been Valmain Samarian, a title repeatedly discovered within fragmented archives. Though all Gods are believed to have existed long before the Astracelian calendar was ever conceived, Valorian’s sacred day falls on the 18th day of his 42-day month. On this day, people celebrate Shiin, a holiday honoring the heroic deeds of armies and the valor of those who fight to protect the world.

Astracelian Week

  • Not counted amongst the Gods themselves, but instead regarded as their offspring, an Astracelian week is formed from nine child deities said to have been born from the original thirteen. {Skynote: Each day holds a matching Earth equivalent, a name, their divine parentage, and a brief recorded detail}.

  • 01 (Sunday) Mintril
  • The first day is called Mintril, known as the Daughter of Eldoria. At first glance, she was often said to resemble her uncle Sylvanor more closely than her own mother.

  • 02 (Monday) Quortril
  • The second day is called Quortril, known as the Daughter of Thalquor. Legends claim she was born upon the moon itself, and some even believe the second moon came into existence alongside her birth.

  • 03 (Tuesday) Veritril
  • The third day is called Veritril, known as the Daughter of Luneth; a being whose radiant light was once uncontrolled, unintentionally blinding those around her.

  • 04 (Wednesday) Kondortril
  • The fourth day is called Kondortril, known as the Son of Sylvanor. Like Mintril, he was often mistaken for another lineage, appearing more like his aunt Eldoria than his father.

  • 05 (Thursday) Palstril
  • The fifth day is called Palstril, known as the Son of Mystara. Said to be a spirit himself, he is believed to still manifest during his father’s sacred day.

  • 06 (Friday) Goruntril
  • The sixth day is called Goruntril, known as the Daughter of Dracoria, and rumored by some texts to also be the child of Nyxar, suggesting their bond eventually bloomed.

  • 07 (Saturday) Valtril
  • The seventh day is called Valtril, known as the Daughter of Elysium. Records claim she possesses neither physical nor spiritual form, yet she appears within dreams throughout this day.

  • 08 (Extra I) Zaintril
  • The eighth day is called Zaintril, known as the First Son of Valorian, said to have inherited his father’s knowledge.

  • 09 (Extra II) Sovetril
  • The ninth day is called Sovetril, known as the Second Son of Valorian, believed to have inherited his father’s courage.

Below lies a concurrent list of Gods discovered after the original thirteen were recorded.

14 The Might of Lightning: Araz

  • Araz
  • Araz was known as the God of Lightning and counted among the Kamb-A-Ir Gods. He was remembered as one of the wisest and oldest deities ever recorded. During his lifetime, he was said to share a strong bond with Dracoria, even wearing draconic armor gifted to him by the Dragon God himself. Records describe him as an elderly yet powerful man, with white-grey hair flowing down his back and a thin moustache that nearly matched half its length.
  • He was known for his gentle nature, often teaching mortals his personal fighting styles and, on rare occasions, allowing them to channel fragments of his lightning through their bodies so they might briefly feel the presence of divinity. In his later years, he helped forge the Sword of Farul alongside two other Kamb-A-Ir Gods, imbuing the blade with his unwavering willpower; a force said to allow the weapon to pierce through anything that stood in its path.

15 The Dead Flame: Puril

  • Puril
  • Puril was known as the Goddess of the Underworld and counted among the Kamb-A-Ir Gods. Despite ruling over the realm below, she spent much of her time in the mortal world above. Ancient records suggest she held a deep fascination with mortal operas and theatrical plays, particularly those that reenacted the historic deeds of the Gods and the civilizations that preceded them. She was most often depicted wearing a vast blood-red gown adorned with black accents, her ghost-white hair contrasting sharply so that the blood of her victims seemed to glow.
  • Though feared by many, she was not needlessly cruel; so long as one did not earn her ire. Some mortals were even deemed worthy of standing within her presence, though many of those chosen later became part of her household, bound like slaves and unable to leave. During the forging of the Sword of Farul, her role lay in the creation of the blade’s material itself. In exchange, she forged a pact with the other two Gods: should a soul lacking perfect balance attempt to wield the sword, their body would burn to ash, and their soul would fall into her dominion to shape as she desired.
