The Bapon is a humanoid creature that, while not intelligent enough to be classified as one of the Races, has exhibited a notable increase in intelligence over the past centuries. This progress is evident in their adoption of makeshift clothing, typically made from leaves and moss found in their natural habitat. Bapons are fiercely territorial and will aggressively chase away any intruders who venture too close to their birthing grounds. Their muscular bodies make them formidable opponents, and they are not afraid to engage in physical confrontations. These creatures dwell in expansive underground cave systems, often with access to extensive cave rivers that stretch for hundreds of meters. Bapons can frequently be observed floating just below the water’s surface, with only the tops of their heads visible, much like crocodiles. One of their most striking features is their bioluminescent hair, which grows down to their backs and serves as a means of intimidation, particularly from behind. Additionally, they have small glowing spots on the front of their bodies, which they can activate or deactivate to attract mates.
